Product Reviews

Independent, in-depth overviews of the enterprise security and infrastructure technologies that teams rely on — organised by category, easy to compare, and written in plain English.

Why we review enterprise technology

Choosing the right security and infrastructure platform is one of the highest-impact decisions a team makes — and the marketing around these products rarely makes it easy. GhostLayer Insights reviews enterprise technologies to cut through that noise: to explain, in clear language, what a product actually does, where it fits, and what to weigh before adopting it. Our aim is to help students, practitioners and decision-makers build an accurate mental model of each category and the leading options within it.

Our methodology — and what these reviews are not

We believe reviews are only useful if you can trust how they were made. Ours follow a few transparent principles:

  • Based on public information. Each overview is compiled from official vendor documentation and widely documented industry knowledge, with the vendor’s own site linked for the latest detail.
  • Editorial, not sponsored. These are independent write-ups, not paid placements. No vendor pays for coverage, a category or a position.
  • No invented numbers. We do not publish star ratings, scores or benchmark results we did not produce. Where we compare, we compare clearly stated, categorical attributes (deployment, licensing model, ideal use), not fabricated metrics.
  • Balanced. Every review names both strengths and limitations to weigh, because no product is right for everyone.
  • Verify before you buy. Specifications, licensing and pricing change — always confirm current details with the vendor before making a decision.

The reviews below are demonstration content created to showcase this section. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; GhostLayer Insights is not affiliated with or endorsed by the vendors featured.
